@phxbillcee Something I saw around the time of the presidential election struck me as the most frightingly disturbing thing about our political world today.

Newt Gingrich kept emphasizing feelings over facts. It’s a tactic Trump used over and over as long as he truly believed regardless of it can be corroborated.

He made his people believe if someone could be so passionate about what they say and how they say it, it’s somehow a substitute to how things really regardless of any distortion.

He made the coal miners of West Virginia believe that he can single-handedly fix their industry even though it has been on a decline for years as alternate fuel sources became popular.

Many of them missed the detail that Trump doesn’t run any energy company to save their jobs as layoffs still happened.

He promised Carrier employees that production wouldn’t shift to Mexico, but again, the enthralled believed him.

Trump’s current tactic is to impose tariffs, which is not stopping Harley Davidson from taking their operations overseas. Other countries are just responding with tariffs of their own against the States and the only ones who suffer are the middle and lower class who have to Buck the cost of said goods.

Trump’s strongarming is costing Americans dearly driving many deeper into poverty. His cult of personality status still has his people holding out hope their messiah’s promises will pay in spades.

Trump and Jones live to be mocked and they feast on it becoming gluttonous and morbidly obese.
