Sorry to hear that. The agoraphobia must be the worst of all. At least the BP1, social anxiety and GAD can be managed with a skilled psychiatrist and clinical psychologist (Ph.D).
I have ultra-rapid cycling BP1 with mixed states and SAD. I’ve been very fortunate to have had a world class psychiatrist, but he retired four years ago. (broke my heart to let go after 22 years) Luckily, my internist has BP1 and he “gets it”. No medicine changes unless he talks to my old doctor first, though.
I see my psychologist twice a month and probably will for the rest of my life.
My family are sick and tired of what they think are excuses for my behavior when I’m cycling, even when I’ve been delusional and/or psychotic. The only time they were understanding was during my first hospitalization and the admitting doctor declared, erroneously, that I had major depression. I have more of the story but don’t want to bore you 😉
Best wishes on managing your symptoms and know you’re not alone!
