That is really cool

@zorialoki I am part Cherokee so the song meant something to me...plus, he was so cute!

@thinktwice He is a good looking guy

@thinktwice Beautiful is what you are. I live in Apache, Navaho, Pueblo and other tribe country. I wouldn't trade it for the world. I only have respect for the people of this land, I am humble to be among them.

I saw them in concert in Louisville Ky in 1966 or 67. I think l paid about $10 for a ticket. There were probably 3 or 4 thousand people in 18,000 seat venue, and these guys were huge at the time. We could get them for 2000 dollars for a school dance. Concerts didn't get really big until after the Beatles. Gees I'm fucking old.

@Sticks48 I remember when concert prices and an oz were about the same price. "the good ole daze"

@zorialoki You do live in beautiful country! I had thought about New Mexico as a place to retire, in fact. Thank you again for posting a song that brought back fond memories. Your compliment is noted as well...thank you.

@Sticks48 I haven't been to a concert in years because of the ridiculous prices! Can't see anything at the big concerts except on the big screens, so might as well watch them on YouTube or something. I prefer going to local bars to watch a live band that is really into the music and not such an over produced concert.

@thinktwice The bars here usually only have local bands, up north in Albuquerque the casinos have great bands all the time, but the time and cost of driving is a pain I don't endure. I only pay for bands I really want to see. The last three concerts I paid full price for were the Rolling Stones

@thinktwice A friend of mine took me to see Dwight Yoakum in Austin last Saturday. The ticket was for his girlfriend's birthday, but they broke up a couple of weeks ago. That is the first concert l have been to since l played a show with Freddie Fender in Red River NM in the late 90's. You should have chosen NM for retirement. The hurricane situation in the Carolinas is not going to get better in the coming years, and we would have been close enough to visit. ?
