Not much talk of drugs in this, the Sex, DRUGS, and Rock-n-Roll group. I don't see how oxy ever became a thing. I remember when Rush Limbaugh made the news for his addiction to the stuff & I was issued a prescription, after oral surgery. The doctor specifically pointed out that I was not to operate heavy machinery, drive, or use alcohol while taking the medication, that it may cause drowsiness, and that he was aware of reports of strange dreams from people taking the drug. I wasn't in that much pain, but his warnings intrigued me. That night, I took a regular dose and washed it down with a beer, then sat up for at least 2 hours reading a book (nothing terribly riveting), before giving up and trying to go to sleep. No weird dreams. Nothing that could be described as a high or sense of feeling remotely loopy. So disappointing! How do people get hooked on that stuff? Any of you ever taken it?
