Why should there be shame associated with being a loner? The stereotype that's been around for so long, of the ultra-popular, centre-of-attention, life-and-soul-of-the-party with friends and family coming and going with permanent smiles on their faces, is just a myth. Individuals are becoming increasingly isolated and relying more and more on internet companionship. We're the honest ones who are prepared to fess up.
