Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.If the robot is in a dust storm I would think they would shut it down and wait for the storm to pass. Hopefully it will no gert burried like in the Movie "The Martian" As long as it has battery life and access to the sun it should come back to running.

Not anxious, but glad it's lasted this long ... Opportunity's surpassed its anticipated mission life by what, 14 years or so?

It's a pretty bad dust storm, maybe it hasn't died down enough to get a signal through.
