Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Really cool. Yes it takes a long time. I saw a presentation where the Solar System was scaled and you traveled at the speed of light to the planets. It is fun but gets boring as the distances are so great.

In the college astronomy class I took we spent 2 days doing a project where class groups were assigned a planet: we had a choice of several common types of balls or fruits or seeds that would proportionately represent the size of each planet and we walked out among the surrounding neighborhoods, counting steps to represent a scale model of our solar system, and youre not fucking kidding lol. We must have walked 2 and a half miles each day just to spread these tiny artifacts out enough to represent the distances to scale.
