I was told by a very trusted and reliable person who is 'in the know' in Canberra last year that Morriscum's main intention is to " get ALL Australians, young and old, back onto the path of Christianity, the Hillsong Church way in particular." It looks very much like that is PRECISELY what he is aiming to do whether we want it or not.

I think that the 'bullshit' to which you are referring is NOT from the people themselves BUT that which exudes copiously and seemingly endlessly from the Political Puppeteers ( the Media Barons like Murdoch, etc, ) via the mouths of their puppets.
Yes, the 'younger' generations have swallowed that bait, hook, line and sinker, but we, the older Aussies ( in the 60 + years old brackets), still hold firm to our inherited cynicisms regarding Politicians and their like.
We still hold firm to the truly Aussie ideology of ' A Fair Go for All' just as did those who came before us.
After all, is that NOT what once drove this country once and made it the best place on earth to live?
Morriscum IS a member of the Hillsong Church, so of course he'd pushing to have OUR kids indoctrinated into the world of ridiculous Religious Fantasy rather than use the 247 Million Dollars to actually educate them on the Truths, Realities, etc, of life and this REAL world.
A couple of million for Mental Health is nothing more than a dribble of piss in a bucket compared to what IS really needed when the stresses and strains of modern living are taking their toll on just about everyone.

@powder uhhhh don’t. It really grates on me when the retail attendants ask you how your day has been. They don’t care and I don’t care to tell them! I always select a local shop if I can to interact with a person and not a script.
There!s even a petrol station in Shepparton where they fill your car for you and wash the windscreen. And they say G’day mate!
