This is a Bush Stone Curlew I found on the road on North Stradbroke Island in November. He is less than a day old in this pic and couldn't follow his parent and sibling any further. As far as I know he is fine now, we collected him, took him to some shade near his mum, she came and fussed a bit, fed him and they wandered off a bit further. They are endangered where I live, we have 8 near me, but they are quite prevalent on the island. OK, pics not loading, will keep trying
