This has got to be one of (if not the--I haven't looked) the best groups on the site! Well done, @btroje, and well done everyone! I've viewed as many posts here as I dared, and I'm totally loving all the little glimpses into people's personalities, skill sets, and creativity.
This is my first post to this group. I've been an amateur artist since I could hold a crayon--mostly drawing, although I've dabbled in many areas: jewelry making, paper mache, polymer clay, tie-dye, cartooning, lettering, chalk, sewing, knitting. I tend to go in jags, and revisit things from time to time.
A few years ago I was on a mandala jag. I was somewhat addicted, for a while, to the meditative peace and total absorption I experienced while drawing them. I was (and still am) far more invested in the process than the product.
I dedicate this post to @walklightly, my (evidently) creative soulmate.
Awesome! I love colorful patterns. I’ve always wanted to try stained glass
Super - these are really fun and cool to look at - love the T-Shirt too.
TY
Beautiful! I can see the enjoyment in making them!
TYVM. It's totally absorbing. I go full nerd with protractor, compass, straight-edge, and all my geometry chops, so it satisfies my logical side as well as my creative side. It's a nice blend of the two.
@stinkeye_a I would love to see some of those in stained glass!
@Hathacat yeah me too; expensive hobby, i hear
The Law of Many. Nice work!
Thank you very much.
Your dolls are some of the best art I've seen lately.
