Wax patterns will be made from the mold and then those will be packed into a resin bonded sand mold. Then the wax is melted out of the sand and in goes the molten iron.
Why are you making an iron loaf of bread ?

It's art. I can imagine filling a gallery with hundreds of these things!!
Oh, goodness, I completely misunderstood. I imagined a loaf of bread deeply covered in green mold. So happy, it is the pan!

Have you worked out how heavy the the finished product is going to be

I'll weigh the wax pattern that comes out of the mold and multiply x9 for the weight of the iron to be poured into the sand mold.
