Red, White and Blue
Each September, a local tree service business holds a wonderful event on their grounds to raise money for our local Wounded Warriors chapter. I make a quilt to be raffled off. Here is the top of the one I made for this year...I did not make all of the squares...some were made by friends. My job is to put it together and finish the quilt.
Here is the progress so far...
I am also making a bunch of coasters and small items for sale ...
The local chapter does things like help vets pay bills, get transportation, convert a bathroom for handicap use, buy medical equipment upgrades, and get Hershey park tickets for the family. It really is a great cause.

I have to refrain from going on a rant about how our government needs to do more for the men and women they send off into harms way. Thank you.
