I like mixed media art. This was something I made for my mother some years back. It's acrylics, fabric lace, paper, metal, and stencils on wood. And even though I'm not religious, I don't mind using the word "blessings" on this piece.

Well, there's lots of tutorials that help, and sometimes it's just a process of practicing. The more you do it, the better you get at it. And there's ways of fixing oopsies along the way (gesso is your friend!).

She actually did. I loved this piece too and it was kind of hard to give it away. I will make more of them though.
