I'm in TN now after FL. I used to walk my dogs 2 at a time about 2 1/2 miles daily in NH but since then I live in hot places. The sun makes the pavement too hot for dog paws. In FL we went to the beach instead, in TN there's a shaded park beside a wide not very deep river so we go there if afternoons have baked the tar. I throw a ball for Leela and she loves water just gets the ball returns and lies down in it. Luke on the other hand had a bad experience in his previous life and if I turn on the hose he runs for the door. He only drinks the river water barely getting in water past his ankles. He's too old to bother changing his ways. I did give him 1 bath when I first got him. He didn't mind that. He hates the hose water sprayed at him.
