Here are a couple of hikes we took this past weekend. We had kids with us ranging from 5 to 10 years of age. The first one was ~5.5 miles named Raven Cliff Falls Trail. The second one was Dukes Creek Falls and only 2.2 miles. Both are in the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest, Georgia.

The hike on Raven Cliff Falls Trail was extremely hot. I looked like I had been swimming but hadn’t. The trail ended below the Falls, so I had to climb a little to get to the bottom of the Falls and had to climb even further to get to the top section of Falls. I had a brilliant idea of going a different route to the top, which proved to be a dumb idea. I ended up going up the most difficult way I could find, ~ 40-degree climb, mostly on hands and feet. Oh well, I made it. The second and third photos are of the two sections (top and bottom).

The second hike was done in the early morning, so it wasn’t too hot. It was very loud, but peaceful in a way. My daughter and I had planned on a 4.5-mile hike, but it was mis-distanced on the website and ended up being a very short 2.2 miles. It was a good morning stretch nonetheless.
