The Jackson River Scenic Trail runs right by my neighborhood and my boys and I use it quite a bit. Its only a few hundred feet from my house and such a great place for us to walk and ride our bikes and enjoy time together. The annual volunteer clean up date for trail is coming up and due to my health, Im probably not going to be able to participate. Maybe, but not likely. I hate it because we use the trail frequently and I want to do my part in maintaining it.

I am trying to think of other ways to contribute. Any ideas? I know the volunteers meet for pastries and coffee prior to starting. I could provide that? Just a straight donation for supplies? Thatโ€™s really all I have come up with so far.

I hope you're feeling better soon.
Any of your ideas or these are great.
Or, you know, just send them thoughts and prayers.

Thanks Dave. I can send thought and prayers but I was hoping to do something that would be actually helpful...

Since you are so close to the trail, you could offer your house as a starting point for a portion of the clean up.

Those sound like good ideas- perhaps reach out to the organizers and see if they have anything you could help with?
