Hi group! Just joined. I am an Agnostic and Libertarian seems to be the only political option for me. It's nice to have people who share the same ideas, although I doubt with all the "good fearing" people in the country the Libertarians could win an election. But have to keep trying none the less!

While winng elections is nice, being able to vote one's conscience is more important still. Besides, think of all the crazy, far out libertarian positions from forty years ago that arenow pretty much mainstream: cannabis legalization, LGBT rights, etc.

I'm with you. As you can see from the small size of this group, there aren't many of us. I find the majority here on the site to be very liberal, even socialist-leaning, which breaks my heart, but even with that, most of them are nice, intelligent people. Welcome!

I like Penn Jillette's point: the government's power comes from guns, so if you wouldn't point a gun at someone to make them do something, you shouldn't support the government doing it. Libraries? Good, but not worth pointing a gun at somebody to run.
