Is there a driver available for Linux, hopefully Ubuntu, for the Fiio usb sound interface? I have it for windows 10 but there seems to be none for Linux. It would probably function in low resolution mode without the driver but I like to listen to music at higher bit rates and depths.
If you cannot find a driver, find who writes the drivers for the sound card you are using and write to them, they can tell you if there is one or write one if needed.y should also should also be able to ell you anything about the interface.
When I put "Fiio usb sound interface, driver, linux" in search engine, the results say no driver is needed, included in the kernel.
But does the kernel support higher bit rates and depth? I don't want to go to all the trouble of installing Linux just to find it's not fully supported.
@Theresa_N Linux doesn't need to be installed, it can be run from media (USB,DVD).
Posted by FrayedBearAnyone using Android 12? Are you having problems with the Gmail app no longer working along with the PlayStore?
Posted by ScubaWagsWow, Windows 11 will have tiling windows. No one has ever done that before...

Posted by OldMetalHeadThis is quite interesting. I knew Ubuntu would be high, but I honestly didn't expect it to be that high.
