Hello family in recovery, old and new! Feel free to post here as you'd like...we're all here to both help and seek it (I'm assuming) so let's hear your stories as well!
Update for me...I'm recovering from a massive fungal infection (body wide) that was misdiagnosed as bacterial...so 4 rounds of oral antibiotics, 2 shots, a plethora of ointments, ear drops,...none of which worked I'm finally being cured with a simple topical cream!
I'm getting back into my artistic groove, having completed two more graphic "Tales' 'Toons", formed the bases of two new songs and have some fresh ideas for my "vampyress" story thread.
My ear blockage and hip pain are still undiagnosed but I do feel well enough to start looking for a part time job, which will be enough to keep me humbly salient. This week, I'll discuss jobs available for people with my restrictions with the state employment agency and next week I have an appointment with the federal program reps.
I'm still hoping to find something in the arts and even more some niche my own art will be appreciated but I'll do what I need to do...at least I'm feeling more among the living now!
Posted by Fibonacci1618This is an article discussing the differences and similarities between a 12 Step Program and SMART Recovery. I'm curious about your thoughts or experiences between the two..... [thefix.com]
