Science vs. philosophy

Science is a "way of knowing", Philosophy is "Loving" the way of knowing.

All I know is that while I love knowledge, the world needs plumbers as well as philosophers, and plumbing is a body of knowledge anyway.

Plumbing requires knowledge of flow of the things plumbed along with other engineering and design knowledge.

Plumbing is a body of knowledge for its specific purpose that is a "way of knowing " or a science.

Could we then philosophize on how something should be plumbed or designed?

@Word I think kt's already done in the trade manuals, unless you mean how plumbing affects society in terms of understanding itself.


Science DOES allow you to make your own version and then pit it against everyone in the world and see what happens. The writers of the above only wanted to sell books. Why should there be more than one Websters?
