Question everything and everyone! Demand proof! ?
'Proof' is not a word used in science or logical debate without specific qualifications regarding what is considered 'proof'. Avoid that word. Better to say: "Question everything and everyone. Demand supportable evidence, cited sources, and corroborating experimental results from third parties if available and/or applicable."
What constitutes proof?
@CrazyQuilter The levels of evidence pyramid helps, but the statement doesn't. "Outrageous" is an emotional, subjective judgment.
@CrazyQuilter Pity no-one told priests that.
I personally subscribe to the concept that the more outrageous the claim, the more likely people are to believe it.
It is a ploy that has been used by dictators from time immemorial.
@Theskeptic The tendency to question proof is laughable.
Why?
@Theskeptic why?
This can go on all night, by the way. Every statement you make will be queried - you told us to do so!!
@Petter, @Theskeptic Just doing as you ordered
