Its the way you tell it. I remember being captivated by a French poet recalling the time spent waiting for the washing machine to let him open the door. "At that moment I am at one with all of humanity who have waited for a machine to give them their laundry back"

Generally, it isn't, but it doesn't have to be dreadfully boring, either. It depends a lot on delivery.

it is a nice little insight on someone's perspective of things. it is always fun to see how others view the world. weather it is higjly descriptive or simple observation.
