My background from my grandparents and earlier family is Protestant, but my parents broke with religion in the 1960's and became hippies, spending time in communes and travelling the world. From that I was lucky to have a sound scientific upbringing, degree in mechanical engineering. I've lived in the Netherlands, the UK and the USA.
I've worked as a graphic designer, software engineer and manager. Spiritually, I have quite a deep knowledge of guru's like Jiddu Krishnamurti, Osho, George Gurdjieff and many others. I've studied Buddhism for about 4 years, and have found much in it that i found useful, but there are also aspects to it that I find hard to swallow.
As the Buddha said, ehi passiko, come and see for yourself the truth of the teachings.
