I am a mathematics and science pedagogue. I love to read (especially classical literature), do crossword, logic & math puzzles and play boardgames such as Scrabble, Chess and Settlers of Catan. I love libraries and I believe in the pursuit of knowledge for its own sake. I do not generally care for music, but on occasion I enjoy a piece of classical music (e.g. Vivaldi's Four Seasons.) In college, I majored in German and minored in Mathematics.
I was raised a Roman Catholic and I heartily accept what I had been taught. I even attended a preparatory seminary because I believed that I had been called by god to become a priest. As I grew older, became more educated and suffered some of the trials of life, I gradual came to the realization that religion was nothing more than a comforting fiction that man has created to account for the unpleasant and unknown.
I have never been married, have no children and no pets.
