If it's bacon we take it anyway we can get it, so both types or bacon are found in Canada.

when going to the cabane à sucre (Sugar Shack) we drizzle maple syrup on everything: eggs, ham, potatoes, omelettes, beans, pâté, pork rinds and even in our coffee... (Maple syrup is like your mother, it makes everything taste better)

I have to settle for the artificial syrup, the real stuff makes my throat close up in an allergic reaction. 9 generations in Canada and this is my allergy. lol
