It is almost impossible for an immigrant to integrate into society. Here in Canada we look for what contribution that immigrant can make to our society. We have some basic things like you know when an immigrant group is integrating into Canada by when they start to turn up in the NHL. But we (in general -- Andrew Scheer and his attempts at immigrant horror stories notwithstanding) are relatively good at opening our hearts and our arms and welcoming new Canadians. I think we are probably talks about New anyones (Americans, Brits, French, Italians, Swiss). It is something to be kind of proud of.
