Bobcat mom and her 3 cubs play on golf course:
Reminds me of a late fall night walking home from the YMCA. The dark path (between the mostly unlit baseball diamond and gulf course) had a chain link by a tree-row separating the golf course from the baseball diamonds. As I walked, a large animal followed my path on the other side of the fence. I could hear the breaking of twigs, the shuffling of leaves, and a low pitched and powerful hiss of what I assumed was a large bobcat or badger. I, wearing shorts and tennis shoes, had nothing to defend myself so I puffed up my chest and arms and made heavy stomping sounds on the path and included an occasional low pitched growl. The animal hissed and tracked me for hundreds of feet until the fence line ended by the sole light source for the area. Thankfully, the animal decided to walk away. It was very dark but after the tree line and fence ended and I could see what was following me, it looked like a bobcat as it walked away.
