And then there's Hitch (after Christopher Hitchens). He was found in a storm drain after a storm by a friend when he was a wee kitteh. He's my boy. He meets me at the door, rides my shoulders around the house so he's pretty much the social opposite of Spooky. I love him dearly.

He really looks a bit Norwegian Forest Cat - like a mix? But we'll probably never know.
Both Maine Coons and Wedgies are known for riding shoulders. But some regular old mixes do it too!

I Googled gray cats a few years after I'd had hi. A dualistic found the following. There's a YouTube video that talks about the "breed". They both fit Hitch to T. [en.m.wikipedia.org]
@Fearlessfreep A cat group person told me my Raz looked like one - only he's black. And built like a refrigerator. - I absolutely agree though that could be your cat!
