My Balinese, a version of Siamese, will walk on a leash. She's a beautiful cat and waaaay too friendly to strangers. Therefore she's strictly a house cat but I took her out a number of times on a leash to familiarize her with the property and the entrance to the house. My hope was, in case she ever escaped, at least she would know where to go if there was trouble.
If she ever escapes put her litter box outside the back door. The scent will lead her back home.
@HippieChick58 Good tip!
Way cool!! Most cats won't walk on a leash, but I've known several Siamese who will.

Posted by LaurenIt's my first grand's fifth Gotcha Day and this is her in the arms of my daughter as they drove home.
Posted by LaurenIt would be warmer for us both if he'd get on my lap, but it has to be his idea - though he still likes to stay close.
