‘Bodyguard Of Lies’
Bodyguard of Lies constitutes “the first unvarnished documentary of the history of the Afghanistan war, exposing the falsehoods told to Americans and the secrets kept over four administrations,” notes a release. “Through damning testimonies from insiders, confidential documents, never-before-seen footage and private audio recordings of those at the highest levels of government, this gripping film reveals how failed war policies and strategies were perpetuated, sacrificing thousands of lives and trillions of dollars in the process.”

Last night we watched the newest documentary on the Afghanistan war. If you have the Paramount app on your TV you can find it.
If you follow my political commentary any, then you may have seen me make the statement that I'm ashamed to be an American on occasion. A growing sentiment of basically a daily basis really. Fighting the depression I feel on a regular basis from what I learn each day is a full time job. What I educate myself on to keep myself properly informed. Both for my own intellectual needs and when I attempt to inform others. What I'm forced to be a part of as a citizen of the US within the crimes being committed on our society and the societies abroad.
I'm looking at the box of a delusional reality many are trapped in and want to burn it. There isn't enough of us who want to burn it! Even those most effected are in that box. Those who lost part of their families in Afghanistan. A number I thought I knew, I learned in this documentary are about doubled. Closer to the Iraq war numbers, which are probably false also.
And I assure you that the crimes you'd find here also happened in Iraq. Are happening in the war between the fascistic Ukraine government and Russia. We bleed much needed funding in wars that are needed here at home. The DOC mentions over 300 million a day was going to that war in Afghanistan while 25% was estimated as wasted in fraudulent means on multiple levels. That's probably a generous figure from the guy in the DOC that was given the chore of attempting to follow the money. Which he described as being virtually impossible, and asked to overlook much. Ultimately his work was basically shelved and discarded. The amount of waste and fraud will never be known. The amount of dead never known on any level.
It isn't a party issue! It isn't an administration issue! It's matter of diabolical planning of inhumane natures on all levels where they're using us and working against us. And they're setting up a new chapter of their book south of us. While working on one within us.
deja vu Vietnam all over again. Again and again more lies from the top (often conservative). We thought 'W' was the dumbest president ever. Boy were we wrong.
Dumb would be the citizenship that allowed it to continue without speaking out. Before over 4000 men and women lost their lives there. Despite the growing evidence being provided by unbiased alternative news sources that we weren't able to get them to follow who continued to vote for the criminals orchestrating the crime. Apparently, you missed the comprehension of it not being a party issue. Not only that, but the fact that they were successful in silencing a vast amount of the citizenship, it apparently was a brilliant accomplishment on their part. Considering they're getting away with it again in regards to Gaza, Syria, Yemen, Ukraine, and Venezuela. Including the mis/disinformation being used to paint Russia and China as enemies.
I've been on this site since 2017 providing the information about these falsely manufactured wars, the crimes in regards to both domestic and foreign issues. And I have been attacked personally by a large majority of the members here, on multiple levels for providing such information many now know to have been accurate. While some also still make dumbass comments like yours that indicate you miss the big picture as they continue to do so. Which is a recycling event where people foolishly allow our representatives and MSMs manage their perceptions time after time to find when the truth does finally come out, it's apparently to late for them to want accountability.
Which is why the fact that a MSCM such as Paramount will now release such information knowing the citizenship is controlled so well it makes them look good on a deceptive means. To later fool them again. But I doubt anyone will pick up on this reality! Unless they read this statement. If RT was to release such, previously or currently, it would be banned. So another consideration that everyone should be placing intellectual thought on, is why Paramount has released it now.
I can provide much of the same material in regards to the Iraq war which mirrored the information in this war from within this doc. As I said above, and in Ukraine today. Gaza also. So who genuinely speaking, does stupid truly apply to when the same orchestrated crimes keep being recycled without being challenged? And keep finding voters who will support the same criminals and their basic means of bring in the new criminals.
@William_Mary I too have been here since the site first started in 20177. The elephant, in the room is that most of the citizenry don't want to know what's going on as it's often confusing with both sides often involved in the cover-ups. A Netflix series was Tipping Point and the portion about Vietnam involved both parties. Kenned, may have been a great speaker but he made some really bad decisions and getting involved with this war was one of the worst. I got caught up during this time an enlisted to avoid the draft and being at the mercy of the DoD. Instead I found myself picking my own career and my unit was a part of the NSA (we monitored the Soviet Space program under the SALT talks.
A recent, syndicated editorial by a Patricia Lopez documented that the majority of legal immigrants voted for tRump. Elections are important and having worked at a Seattle polling station for 5 years we witnessed, first hand, the average voter hasn't a clue. Life has become too complicated and the life stresses too great for the average citizen to be able to comprehend the world around them.
@pedigojr unfortunately though, the voting system is as corrupted as the minds filling out the ballots. They aren't voting for representation. A vast majority of them are disclosing how deeply they've had their perceptions developed and willing to continue on a path working against us all. Considering that well under 1% of the candidates in any given election cycle, state or national, are people who want to fight against the current system ruling over us, making the election cycle in the US essentially useless for a genuine structure of representation. And no one who volunteers to work for any board of elections with the spoken ideology you claim to possess has the ability to inject that ideology into the voter or process.
If someone enlist into the military with my sense of views on our government, what possible good did they provide to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan while they witnessed multiple crimes and their own comrades being killed? Mike Prysner
@William_Mary A recent editorial in the Seattle Times talked about how this major city is being torn apart by the strong right wingers. They're about to elect a new, inexperienced strong liberal who is running against a black incumbent who has done a lot of good for the city. This city is swinging far left to try and counter the far right swing in the country and this will bring in more problems. A lot of important people and even the paper is endorsing the incumbent, Harrell but we are again up against ignorance. The world has become much more complicated but voters tend to focus on a few, narrow topics and it only leads to problems.
I think I've mentioned before that I worked a polling station for 5 years, before the state went into mail-in ballots. All who worked in the station saw how stupid the average voter is. Biggest problem is few bother to understand the myriad of issues we face.
I mentioned the editorial from a Patricia Lopez about how the majority of Hispanics voted for tRump. My late partner was from Iran and she and her family moved to the US in 1977 on a student visa. In 1979 the Iranian revolution hit and she knew she could never go back so applied for a citizenship. It took years, a lot of money and frustrations but they got it. Then the amnesty programs came along and she felt a slap in the face for all her efforts. That same expression was in the Lopez editorial from the Latinos who were here legally. I wrote a letter to the paper and got it printed (partially because I live on Lopez Island and the Slap in the face connection. In my letter I mentioned how there are basic rules for a country and one is to be able to control our borders and establish reasonable rules for entering. I showed that letter to a (former) friend and got hit with a very loud verbal attack. He said he didn't believe in borders and we need to help others that are suffering. He was a big proponent of an open border, which is insane. They're trying to sell their million dollar house and can't so there's a background frustration. Then reading the item on moving to the far left I see another connection. This country is being literally torn apart and a lot of the reasoned based people are caught in the middle!
@pedigojr I would imagine Harrell having been a councilman from 2008 to 2020 served along side the socialist who was once on the council. In which the city was apparently happy with that representation during the first primary rounds of raising wages to $15 an hour with apparent success from the statements of the community. I remember Amazon putting up millions in election cycles attempting to get rid of her. He's also part Asian, another flaw to him in the eyes of many.
You confuse me with your tossing of right and left labels however. The right has been a constant challenge of the left that has existed for several years. As I stated above, with the acceptance of the majority during those years within reelections. And what is to far left for you? Socialism? Seattle is a large metropolitan city with an unusual socialist leaning. And corporations want to own it. The citizenship will have to stand strong to keep it as it is! Gentrification is another strong confrontation within. If you lose the election battle, the gentrification will face growing measures. All the advancements will begin to be eradicated. The shining example of how big cities can successfully operate on a socialistic scale will be erased. And the national medias never use the city as an example. They only delivered manufactured negativity from the best examples of protesting citizens who get and keep what they wanted. And our presidents of both parties were guilty of the same criminal false delivery of those manufactured perceptions. If only all our major cities operated like Seattle! But it doesn't comply to the capitalist agendas for our medias and representation to use as an example. All eyes are currently on NY.
You seem to combine liberal with the right at one point. And the majority of voters in this country are for all intensive purposes ignorant because their minds are managed from the medias they follow who betray reality with mis/disinformation. Another positive attribute for Seattle apparently that indicates that enough of have avoided such. Right and left are now obsolete terminologies/labels, liberal, conservative, as well. It's the ruling class against the rest of us. Apparently, a significant amount, enough of, the Seattle citizenship gets it. I hope they face and win the challenge. I've spoken many times on the environment and atmosphere here on Seattle in the past. And the story of Kshama Sawant. Using her and the city as an example within various aspects of multiple issues. It would be disappointing to see that erased.
I'm getting to a point personally where I no longer have the will or want to take the time to do this like I use to. I'm sick to disappointment in my fellow Americans who seemingly will never wake up to the reality around us and fight for change. The examples keep falling at our feet like razors to walk over, and they keep walking over them with the apparent adaptation of the pain and blood soak ground they leave behind as a normality to live with. I've gone from daily post to weekend post to an occasional post now. And have seen very few people change over the years. Even those who speak like they get it, go right back into each election cycle full of the same ignorant views that their vote for a particular party will be a difference. While we see the same recycling of the same killing domestic and foreign policies time after time.
We currently have a new layer of razor blades to walk over with the way both parties are attempting to normalize the Dickhead Cheney as being a decent man who was an evil bastard of the same ilk as Trump. The same as Obama and Bill Clinton. And it will all go over their heads missing the reality of what all these men from Reagan right up to Trump have really been. Vote for the democrats as they today spit in our faces. Used us over and over again each year and kill us in their wars and domestic policies. They totally mis the fact that it's us against the ruling class that they represent.
Iran is a long complicated issue I have no ability to comment on in regards to your relationship with it. From the little provided I could only apply conjecture. From the little I can only question the whys to attributes that seemingly suggest an environment of opposition to the government. My opinions on countries that find themselves in the environment of confrontation with western governments is usually of one most don't agree with for the same reasons as stated above. They don't educate themselves to all the issues as a whole and pick a side which is almost always built on deceptions. Headlines win blissful minds because actual self education is in absence. And they continue to win this way even if you supply the facts they should want to know. They stand within that chosen side with their feet established in concrete. Concrete that facts can't even beat apart from their feet.
Posted by William_MaryFrayedBear just brought my attention to a video that I need to study and do a post on.
Posted by William_MaryA symptom of perception management. The program was completed when the vast amount of the American citizenship became compliant to the delivery of MSM information. [consortiumnews.com]
