I got a keg, been working on it for years. Got to lose it so I can have surgery.

Kudos. i know how hard it is to fight the eating habits we've been ingrained with since before we cculd walk and talk...I've fought it all my life...as a health and biology teacher and now in retirement.

A lot of those Southerners have the freedom to eat whatever they want to and they do.

@Lorajay Sorry, I don't get your comment....nor believe it's true. Food choices are the same in all states. It's the well intended choices our parents made that set in motion our food habits for life...much like our religious habits. That's part of the reason it's so difficult to diet....it's a habit started before we could walk and talk It has nothing to do with food choices available.

@Robecology Grin, my freedom comment was related to the political stance of many Southerners. I agree wholeheartedly that our parents usually create the model for our future eating habits.

Posted by JurneeI have to say, as an overweight karate instructor, this is the one patch that I was ok with never getting.

Posted by DotLewis7 March 2020 - Diet Diary - Been quiet around here lately. I've not been on vacation, just keeping a low profile and trying to stay on top of things. Are those things incompatible?
