01/09/2018 - Diet Diary- Today went well. I used the calorie tracking feature of FitWatch.com to keep track today. It was kind of entertaining but I don't think it will be practical long term. I ended up spending more time than is practical entering food items. Putting it in my notebook is quick, although I often have to turn to a search for calorie counts but that is pretty speedy. I may play with it a little longer, it may go smoother with practice.

Down side, there are things it won't locate when you enter them so I had to make do. For example, wanted to add a 3 oz. container of DanActive probiotic drink. They had nothing like it, the closest I could come was yogurt but then the other things the site tracks were not necessarily correct. It tracks calorie by protein, fat and carbs. Interesting, I can tell if I'm going too light on one area. I was low on protein and carbs and high on fat, mostly because I had a 4 oz. steak and sunflower kernels on my salad.

Calorie count for the day was 1192, higher than I have been going for but I shifted my allowance from 1100 to 1279, which according to F.W. makes for "aggressive" weight loss plan. That surprised me but I don't know that upping to that number is bad. It might give me just enough more room to lessen the urges to binge. Will wait to see if that is the case.

Posted by OldMetalHeadThe hardest part for me is not falling back into old bad habits after meeting goals.

Posted by JurneeI have to say, as an overweight karate instructor, this is the one patch that I was ok with never getting.

Posted by DotLewis7 March 2020 - Diet Diary - Been quiet around here lately. I've not been on vacation, just keeping a low profile and trying to stay on top of things. Are those things incompatible?
