3 March 2019 - Diet Diary - Calorie intake today was 1040, salt was at 2300, thanks to the cream of cauliflower soup, made with canned chicken broth. Was awfully good though. Baked tonight, made pumpkin oatmeal breakfast cupcakes with raisins. Just an odd recipe I ran across, the result is similar to those "health/energy" bars you can get anywhere, no egg, no flour, no sugar just a couple tablespoons of honey. Probably won't make them often but they would have been really nice back in my working days when I often ran out of the house with whatever I could grab and a cup of coffee for breakfast.

Kept busy working on countertop for cabinets in the afternoon. In the morning did very little other than bask in the sun through the dining room window. Woke up with multiple aches and pains, hands, back, etc and soaking in the sun seemed like a good choice. Felt better in the afternoon so got the top cut to size, ripped the overhang piece and glued it in place. It has to dry 12 hours at least before sanding the edge. Working on what I want to do for a "backsplash". Also testing out what color stain I want to use on the top. Better than going outside today, although I did have to go out and shovel snow. COLD!!!!!!

Hope you all are staying warm, one way or another and having success in meeting your goals.

Posted by OldMetalHeadThe hardest part for me is not falling back into old bad habits after meeting goals.

Posted by JurneeI have to say, as an overweight karate instructor, this is the one patch that I was ok with never getting.

Posted by DotLewis7 March 2020 - Diet Diary - Been quiet around here lately. I've not been on vacation, just keeping a low profile and trying to stay on top of things. Are those things incompatible?
