27 April 2019 - Diet Diary - Another day, guess that is all I can say about it. Got the storm door repaired today, put a new sweep on it so it actually touches the threshold. Maybe this summer I won't have the flies that crawl under the door to get in the house. Found out my friends are going to move to Wichita in about 6 weeks. They will be moving closer to their daughters. Good for them, bummer for me. I "know" a good number of people in town but "friends" locally is pretty much this couple and my 95 year old neighbor. Being an introvert, I don't enjoy being around crowds or spending lots of time in social settings but I don't relish social isolation either. 😟

Ate a little heartier today, around 1300 calories. Really good breakfast, made a 2 egg omelet with asparagus and provolone cheese. My asparagus is sprouting now and some of it is HUGE. Stalks as big around as my thumb. Tomorrow I may roast the rest that I picked today. Need to cook tomorrow, cauliflower is reaching limits of storage time, I fear. Thinking some fried "rice" (cauliflower) would be good. Tried it once and it was tasty and could easily pass for being real rice. Guess I'll see how the day goes. Fun Sunday to all.

Posted by JurneeI have to say, as an overweight karate instructor, this is the one patch that I was ok with never getting.

Posted by DotLewis7 March 2020 - Diet Diary - Been quiet around here lately. I've not been on vacation, just keeping a low profile and trying to stay on top of things. Are those things incompatible?
