10 May 2019 - Diet Diary - Just not really in the mood tonight. Would like to be rid if this disquietude I have been experiencing the past couple weeks. Puts my teeth on edge, the rest of me as well. I shall escape into sleep shortly.

Think I hit 1500 intake today, not intending to let the day get away from me but it did. Spent too much time in the kitchen, doing some cleaning but more cooking. Made a second batch of apple chips and the cauliflower soup I've been planning for a week. It turned out well. Only ate a "sample", maybe 1/2 cup as it wasn't done until after supper time. Will share some with the neighbor tomorrow evening.

I bought a used, but working digital body scale - I'll give that old rusty spring scale to goodwill...

Cool! Is that one that tells more than weight, like body fat percentage and such?
The one I've been using was my dad's. It was what his cardiologist ordered, it could hook to a phone line, I think, so it would transmit readings to the doctor. There was also a BP reader that did the same. Avoids patients downplaying their stats, I guess. Anyway, it is a solid, heavy set and seems fairly consistent, other than an occasional day when no 2 readings are the same.

It's hard not to snack when you are unsettled. I hope things get better for you soon.If it helps to share your thoughts you can always message me.

Posted by JonnaBononnaI had finally gotten back on track after gaining back most of the weight I lost a couple of years ago.

Posted by JurneeI have to say, as an overweight karate instructor, this is the one patch that I was ok with never getting.

Posted by DotLewis7 March 2020 - Diet Diary - Been quiet around here lately. I've not been on vacation, just keeping a low profile and trying to stay on top of things. Are those things incompatible?
