14 May 2019 - Diet Diary - Well, summer arrived with a vengeance today, 90° plus. That is, of course 15-20° above normal for this time of year. So what's new about completely non-normal weather? The squash plants appear to be doing better after sucking up some water so should be fine.

Had a really tasty asparagus and ham "omelette" for breakfast. I use the term omelette loosely, when I make then it generally translates as scrambled eggs with stuff in them and cheese on top. It tasted good anyway. Finished the day under 1100 but salt was a little high again. The cauliflower soup has to take much of the blame. Need to remember to start buying low sodium chicken broth as this is the part of the recipe that adds most of the salt to my soups.

Tomorrow is my "goal day" and I should be good, barring an unexpected bounce from the salt. I don't think I had that much but never know. I've been below the goal every day but one for 3 weeks. Now, the challenge will be to get rid of the last 3 pounds by June 11.

Given how much your weight bounces with the salt/fluid problem, don't be disappointed if you don't hit your goal dead on time. I hope you do, though

Posted by OldMetalHeadThe hardest part for me is not falling back into old bad habits after meeting goals.

Posted by JurneeI have to say, as an overweight karate instructor, this is the one patch that I was ok with never getting.

Posted by DotLewis7 March 2020 - Diet Diary - Been quiet around here lately. I've not been on vacation, just keeping a low profile and trying to stay on top of things. Are those things incompatible?
