Yesterday I used my manual wheelchair for a doctor's visit via lyft, just two miles away. Just two days before, I'd decided I had to retire my power chair; the left rear caster bearing, that is supposed to swing free, is binding, making that rear wheel drag across the floor sideways, instead of rolling smoothly. It was serendipity; using that wheelchair as a walker, pushing from behind is a good way to transition between rolling and walking. Duh! Last time I used it, I was 125 lbs heavier. Losing that weight is real success, and now the workouts begin. I'm feeling the pleasure of muscle pain again, today, not too much, just right for a good workout the day before. I'll post a pic later.

That's good news. Let's hope that feeling the difference will continue to inspire you to lose more weight.

Thanks. Nearly ready to party.

@EdEarl And despite your size; I like the pic of you with the young man better...you're almost smiling...!

@Robecology That pic is my grandson, Michael, and me.

@EdEarl Please consider changing your profile meme to that one...a LOT more charming!

@Robecology Good suggestion. I'll have another made with Michael and me. The two in my profile are when I weighed my maximum, and I don't like them. You are right, they are more charming.

When I was that heavy, I suffered with pain in my left foot with no viable pain killers, not even morphine, for more than five years...bad memories.

Posted by JonnaBononnaI had finally gotten back on track after gaining back most of the weight I lost a couple of years ago.

Posted by JurneeI have to say, as an overweight karate instructor, this is the one patch that I was ok with never getting.

Posted by DotLewis7 March 2020 - Diet Diary - Been quiet around here lately. I've not been on vacation, just keeping a low profile and trying to stay on top of things. Are those things incompatible?
