1 June 2019 - Diet Diary - Cutting my time close tonight, need to get ready shortly if I'm to hit my bedtime. Was really tired earlier but of course, now that it is past midnight, I'm clicking right along. Made "slaw-ghetti" today, replace the pasta with shredded cabbage or broccoli, etc. Was very tasty! Finished repairs on the fan from the senior center. Had to fabricate much of the motor casing from some PVC(?) sheet I had and epoxy part of the blade cage that had been broken when someone knocked it over.
Exercise class can be very reliant on those fans, by the time I twist my neck back and forth and roll my shoulders a few time, I'm already working up a sweat. MUST HAVE FAN!! Buying a new one would have been easier but I get a bit of a charge out of repairing something that would have ended up in the landfill otherwise. Epoxy is my friend.
Not a bad day, not REAL lean but finished under 1200 so I can live with that. Gave into an urge late evening but only had 1/2 of it so I exhibited some control. Overall, getting back in control after that binge. Will have to be more vigilant about the watching for triggers that can set those off and actively look for better ways to deal with those.
Kudos on the binge control...I'm still at 147..working toward the 130's....
I agree about repairing things - even achieving something small makes me feel I am helping to Dave the planet. I'm not sure I have your confidence with mechanical things though. It sounds as if you are getting the calories back under control. Have you got a maintenance diet planned for when you reach your goal?
Posted by OldMetalHeadI hit a new weight milestone this week. Still trying for the six-pack.
Posted by OldMetalHeadThe hardest part for me is not falling back into old bad habits after meeting goals.

Posted by JonnaBononnaI had finally gotten back on track after gaining back most of the weight I lost a couple of years ago.
Posted by JurneeI have to say, as an overweight karate instructor, this is the one patch that I was ok with never getting.

Posted by DotLewis7 March 2020 - Diet Diary - Been quiet around here lately. I've not been on vacation, just keeping a low profile and trying to stay on top of things. Are those things incompatible?
