21 June 2019 - Diet Diary - Nice day, after last nights storm. Did some yard work, 2.5 trashcans worth of weeds. Went over to the local thrift store to check for a pair of lounge pants they had a couple weeks ago. Didn't buy them then, they were like some I had just bought but hadn't tried for PJ bottoms. Thought I would go back and get them if I liked the pair I had, which I did but then I just never caught the shop open. (very limited hours) Well, the pants were gone so checked for a pair of capri pants and jeans.

Found a pair of each, but what made my day was while I was there, another shopper called me "tiny". OM! No one has ever called me tiny (since I was an actual baby) but she did. We were discussing jeans being too long unless you found "petite" sizes. She said then they were too short. Told her I was OK in petites usually but they can be hard to find in thrift stores. She replied "But you're tiny". OK, maybe she meant I am short but I'm 5'4" and I don't think she could have been more than 5'6" so wouldn't think (or chose not to) that she considered me a very short person. Oh well, doesn't matter what she meant, gave me a moment of 🙂

Had an intake today of 1297, good level after yesterday's low. Slow going but weight is creeping downward. Getting very close to goal. Actually have hit it but will not count it as achieved until I am able to maintain at or below for a period of time. After switching to maintenance, there won't be a lot of difference. The loss has been so slow the last 6 months that I know I am very close to my maintenance intake level already. Will have to continue the tracking over the long haul though, putting weight back on is SO much easier than taking it off.

Congratulations on achieving your goal! I know what you mean about not acknowledging it too soonso you can be sure you can do maintenance, but that really is an achievement.

Great to be called 'tiny'! I buy most of my clothes at what we call charity shops which must be much like your thrift shops but trousers are always harder than tops because of the sizing. I need the short fitting bit they rarely turn up second hand so I often have to wear badly fitting ones or attempt alterations.

Posted by JonnaBononnaI had finally gotten back on track after gaining back most of the weight I lost a couple of years ago.

Posted by JurneeI have to say, as an overweight karate instructor, this is the one patch that I was ok with never getting.
