23 June 2019 - Diet Diary - Nice day for yard work, cool but sunny. I don't think there is any hope of me keeping pace with the weeds. Need to pick my battles and maybe just mow it all and forget it. Still have a lot of iris to dig and reset so no worry about running out of work waiting.

Yesterday went high maybe a fair bit. Had homemade enchiladas, not made by me. Someone in town was "fundraising" by making enchiladas to sell. He and his family has a long history of cooking Mexican food in local restaurants so I bought some. Went to the neighbor's to eat them but no idea what calories in them were. They were quite large, made with 10" tortillas so it wasn't tiny numbers. They also didn't wow me. They tasted fine just not what I would call excellent.

Today was also a little high at 1311. Tomorrow I need to pull it in a bit, would like to keep it below 1200 for the day. Cauliflower rice, fruit and salad on the menu. Off to bed now, feeling a bit tired the last few days. Need to turn in earlier.

Better for the soil to cut off the weeds and leave them on the surface. See this article featuring my lovely son. [naturalengland.blog.gov.uk]

Good article! I shall keep this in mind. Trimming them would also be a lot less work than digging them.

Posted by JurneeI have to say, as an overweight karate instructor, this is the one patch that I was ok with never getting.
