11 August 2019 - Diet Diary - RANT Damn! We needed rain, we got buckets and buckets of it 6 weeks ago then NOTHING! Everything is off, stuff drying up (here, not in the flooded portions of this and the adjoining state) and the time or two it did rain it was like .001" so night as well have skipped it. Then, last night the rain came. Whipped by winds that flung things around, pouring down like the heavens had ruptured. Made it through, garden was nicely wet today, water buckets full. Now, tonight a repeat, half again as out of control as last night and with twice the sound effects so "the kids" are distressed. The really scary part is that this is just the beginning of these kind of patterns and I am NOT looking forward to the future. End rant
I thought I'd feel better after that but I don't. Need to go check the basement for water. This made me think about not having checked around windows to be sure paint is secure this year. Tiny hole in the paint can cause a whole lot of work replacing sashes/sills/trim. I needed another project!
Today went better, although some PVCs, not as much as yesterday. Kept moving much of the day, which actually helps. Working on cleaning the tub today, fiberglass thing and I'm trying to remove some calcium deposits from the drain area. Going to require some more work. Hoping vinegar will be up to the job, don't want to get than CLR stuff if I can avoid it.
Again, calorie intake was good, 1081 to finish. Made cucumbers and onions in vinegar today. Had to find a recipe as I have never made them (successfully) but they were pretty good. Finally used the last of the fat free sour cream today. Tried another pancake recipe. Liked it so will keep that one. Now have some pancakes and waffles in the freezer for when I want one. Weight is not cooperative, since the last bounce, had refused to drop under 138.0. It will, eventually I'm sure but waiting for it is annoying.
Well, radar still shows large, red storm mass over us but for now the rain has pretty much stopped so going to put some vinegar on the tub and get ready for bed.
Posted by OldMetalHeadI hit a new weight milestone this week. Still trying for the six-pack.
Posted by OldMetalHeadThe hardest part for me is not falling back into old bad habits after meeting goals.

Posted by JonnaBononnaI had finally gotten back on track after gaining back most of the weight I lost a couple of years ago.
Posted by JurneeI have to say, as an overweight karate instructor, this is the one patch that I was ok with never getting.

Posted by DotLewis7 March 2020 - Diet Diary - Been quiet around here lately. I've not been on vacation, just keeping a low profile and trying to stay on top of things. Are those things incompatible?
