22 August 2019 - Diet Diary - LOOONG tiring day. Nice weather for driving other than a lot of fog the first 60 miles. Temps stayed under 80° all day so no worry about the truck overheating and didn't have to run the AC other than for a little bit on the way home when I finally got out from other cloud cover. Took 3 hours at the appointment so it was around 2pm when I first ate. Had some breakfast made up and in the fridge to take along, fruit and a breakfast oatmeal "cupcake". Walked out of the house without it, good thing it was in the fridge. OK, might have remembered it if I had set it with my bag.

Lunch was amazing! Stopped at the King Buffet in Kearney, an oriental food chain which has wonderful buffets. Not sure how widespread they are but was one in Lawrence also. They have a carry out where you can fill a container for $4 a pound. Got some of those green beans, which I LOVE, some teriyaki chicken (that stuff on a stick) and some broccoli beef, another favorite. Oh, and one wonton with sweet and sour sauce. Delish!!! Haven't had oriental food for probably 6 months, was really in the mood for it. Did not track eating today, too complicated for me. Didn't eat a lot other than the late lunch then some "snacking" food on the way home, some cheese popcorn and pumpkin seeds. Did eat the cut up fruit I had left in the fridge, half a peach and couple slices of cut up cantaloupe.

Looking forward to sleep tonight. Couple of night of disrupted sleep and early rising plus a day on the road have taken it all out of me. Hoping for an uneventful night.

Posted by JurneeI have to say, as an overweight karate instructor, this is the one patch that I was ok with never getting.

Posted by DotLewis7 March 2020 - Diet Diary - Been quiet around here lately. I've not been on vacation, just keeping a low profile and trying to stay on top of things. Are those things incompatible?
