have you seen The Hunting Ground? (on Netflix) in the wake of a difficult few months and esp. in the wake of the soul-crushing Kavanaugh proceedings, someone recommended that I watch this documentary. I'm not gonna lie - it is gritty and hard to watch. but it is also inspiring, hopeful and so important. and it proved to me that i've been living under a rock for a few decades.

I saw that at a screening at my college a while back. As a survivor it was very hard to watch. Some parts were very upsetting. But that is BECAUSE they dive so deep and so hard. They don't just skim the surface and say oh this is bad. They look into the problems more deeply than other documentaries I've seen and I really appreciate that. Really encourage people to watch it if they're able to.
