Just started lifting again for the first time in 28 years. I’m doing a thorough but gentle split routine M/Th lower, Tu/F upper. Hope I can stick with it. It’s a little intimidating to work out at the fitness center with a bunch of 25 yo chi-bros (endearing nickname non-chiropractic students give to chiropractic students). Wish me luck!

Consider CrossFit. Much more fun, near one-on-one coaching, a group of "bro's" to work out with. More interesting and fun than the boring globo-gyms, and the workouts are pre-desiged. Just show up, work hard, sweat, hurt good, have fun, done.

Good luck. COnsider a CrossFit or similar approach. Much less boring that focused muscle group and your fitness will increase at a faster rate. Plus the camaraderie of group classes.

Chi-bros? Gonna have to remember that one. 😉 Congrats on the lifting!

Posted by Aeonia25850Just for a laugh! Right now I'm pushing these legs of mine hard with the weights and on the bike and am seeing good results.
