I'm thinking of getting a set of crossropes to add to my jump rope collection. I've seen clips on youtube claiming them to be the best. What do you guys think?

Who here jump ropes with a weight vest? Do you see any changes in body shape after?

I don't use equipment much when exercising

@VineetHonkan its been very good...I'm in excellent shape... Both in strength and endurance...

@VineetHonkan my running is measured by time ... My strength by number of repetitions...

@Cutiebeauty so number of reps. Have you ever hear about doing rep max testing? It's either absolute (1rm) or relative (estimated due to the number of reps). 1rm is usually for the functional exercises (deadlift, squat, bench press etc). As for testing endurance, what I do is just measure how long it takes me to go a certain distance (like you)...

@VineetHonkan like I said... No equipment... So no bench presses... Dead lifts , etc... I do high rep calisthenics... 100 reps squats... 100 sit ups... 100 jumping jacks...
And with running its time only... Not distance... I run 1 hour right now.. Every now and then I'll add 10 minutes...

@Cutiebeauty well, if you increase rep number for calisthenics you are not really testing for strength, as strength is defined as a max rep...increasing the number of reps for calisthenic style exercises is to improve muscular endurance...

@VineetHonkan haha it takes strength to do 100 situps or push ups.... Men and women have different bodies...
