Irish Soles 5k Road Race!!
I finished 9th in my age group. Believe it or not 55-60 is a pretty tough group. The race started and finished in front of Chattanooga Brewing. Had a local stout dark beer pre race. 9.2 per cent alcohol. So I was running kinda buzzed.. It was organized by Notre Dame High School and their alumni. Lining up at the start finish line before the race. A nun who was running, complimented me on my shamrock bandana. I Said I like her nun bandana as well. I told her I had thought about wearing something like hers but it was a habit I didn't want to get started. Then I said "I'm keeping my eye on you! if you pull a Sally Field and start flying, your disqualified" That had her shaking her head and mumbling.

Posted by Aeonia25850Just for a laugh! Right now I'm pushing these legs of mine hard with the weights and on the bike and am seeing good results.
