Hello there. I've been a meat eater for much of my life, but I'm considering switching to a primarily plant-based diet (I'll still do fish, I expect, but eliminating dairy is on the list). That said, I'm curious how people who've done plant-based diets get their protein. I'm assuming pea protein, rice and beans too, but if I don't do whey, what are some other options? Thanks in advance 🙂

I eat meat because I need more protein in my diets. I also drink muscle milk as well. I do like hummus too. I used to have a hard time eating meat because of all the surgeries that I had to have on my mouth for my cleft lip. I have been drinking the muscle milk more often and eating protein bars as well.

@Bostonian

Why are you eliminating something as healthy as dairy?

I see. But dairy is there to help you take a massive dump, because that dump is actually full of waste and toxins. You're not helping yourself if you're quitting dairy because you want to hold turds inside your body.

I acknowledge that.

I’ve done non-mammal diets. I liked it. My reasoning was that if consuming ones own species leads to disease, perhaps eating outside of the mammalian class would be beneficial.
