As a chartered professional accountant, part of Nigel Kennett's job is financial audits.

While reviewing the books of a religious organization, the Edmonton resident decided to take a look at the finances of his own church, using the website of the Canada Revenue Agency.

He typed "the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints" into the search box, and checked the first hit.

Yup, their at it again. They are consolidating the wealth back in Utah, as the Lurch of Splatter day Stains enters its death throws.
We were always taught "if the laws of the one true church come in to conflict with the laws of man, follow gods laws"
So tax fiddling, sorry tax avoidance. Ain't nothing new to the Lather daze Taints

No, it's not. I remember as a kid, I had to pay that damn tithing out of the meagre allowance I got, & I resented that soooooo much!

@Lilac-JadeCanada I love the way that in court a few years back, the Saint's legal council insisted all Tithing is purely voluntary, even though if you don't do it you face ostracization, shunning, endless worthiness interviews and an eternity in Hell, according to church doctrine.

@LenHazell53 Yes, & very glad I'm long out of it.
