Wow, this brings up a lot of suppressed fury. I was humiliated when I needed help from the church and made to feel like I was taking advantage. Never mind the tens of thousands I donated in money and goods to Deseret Industries and the hours of volunteer work I offered the church. I've been able to let a lot of things about the church go, but apparently I'm not totally past it all because this just pisses me off.
