I rarely do this; but here's a good read about a young woman who wrote a book about young ladies becoming aware of the absurdity of Religion at a young age.

Thanks for posting this. Elle seems to have it all together and I like what she says. The question "how do you know you are good enough to get to heaven after you die" is a typical believer response. I would ask them which heaven they plan on going to.
Nobody has asked me that question, but if they ever do, I think I'd remind them that somewhere in the bible, Jesus said something to the effect of “The kingdom of Heaven is spread upon the earth but men do not see it.” so I take that to mean that I can experience "heaven" every day in my own life, by living a good life, treating others well with kindness and grace, and in return, I'm rewarded with health, happiness and respect from others.
I can also create my own "hell" on earth, by being selfish and hateful toward others, and in return am hated by myself and others, which is a hell I try to avoid here and now.
